We will be starting this year’s club events with our dust off cruise on Sat. April 29th followed by our regular first week end car show to Rheinbeck NY May 5-7
The May membership meeting (Wed. May 31st) will be a pot luck dinner starting an hour earlier than normal at 6:00 PM Everyone please bring a main dish for four people or a desert.

4/29 Sat Dust off cruise Our annual dust off cruise to warm up our engines. We went to the Submarine Force Museum on Rt 12 in Groton CT. After touring the museum we headed to Old Mystic Village where we dined at the Steak Loft and stroled through the shops after lunch. http://www.wpraaca.com/dust-off-details.htm

Rheinbeck trip: Don Oster has booked six rooms at the New Quality Inn of Hyde Park. http://www.rhinebeckcarshow.com/swaps.html We’ll be going to the Rheinbeck show of hot rods Saturday and old cars Sunday along with a car coral and swap meet Sat. & Sun. This has always been a big show, swap and car coral to start off the season. Drivers wishing to travel there as a group should meet at “Somewhere In Time” resturant in Groton CT near the intersection of CT Rt. 184 & 27 at 8:00 AM on Fri. 5/5/17
North Stonington Memorial Day Parade Monday May 29th Club members wishing to drive their old cars in the parade should meet at the N. Stonnington fairgrounds 21 Wyassup Rd. N. Stonington st 9 AM for the parade start at 10 AM. John and Kim Parker will have the parade participants over to their house at 358 New London Tpk (Rt 184) in N. Stonnington after the parade as usual.

9/16 Sat pot luck party at the Calabrese’s 40 Border Ave. In the Green Hill section of Wakefield starting at noon. The rain date is Sun. 9/17
Oct. 4-7 Wed-Sat Hershey PA 2017: AACA fall show swap and car coral We will be staying at the Day’s Inn. Dave Calabrese has made all the reservations on his credit card. Each person will be able to pay on the day of arrival. Six rooms for twelve people have been reserved. http://www.aaca.org/
