We had a special guest speaker at our March meeting. Stve Rossi, a contributing editor for the AACA magazine, gave us a talk titled “how the West won.” He discussed the contributions Germany and France
made to the development of the early auto industry from 1885 to 1925. And how this all lead to Detroit being the capital of car production.
Upcoming Events
4/29 Sat Dust off cruise Our annual dust off cruise to warm up our engines. This is a one day cruise in our area held on a week end day in April. We’ll be going to the Submarine Force Museum on Rt 12 in Groton CT. We’ll meet at 10 A in the parking lot of the north Stonington senior center. After touring the museum we’ll head to Old Mystic Village where we’ll be dining at the Steak Loft and strolling through the shops after lunch. http://www.wpraaca.com/dust-off-details.htm

Oct. 4-7 Wed-Sat Hershey PA 2017: AACA fall show swap and car coral We will be staying at the Day’s Inn. Dave Calabrese has made all the reservations on his credit card. Each person will be able to pay on the day of arrival. Six rooms for twelve people have been reserved. http://www.aaca.org/
