Recent Club Events
At our April meeting Dave Calabrese gave a short talk on what its like to be a judge and to be judged at an AACA meet. We learned about the different classes and the fact that 20% of the judges are women.
Fri. April 22 Club dust off cruise ran with Kevin O’Rourke to the Hereshoff yachting museum and the America’s cup hall of fame in Bristol, RI. Everyone enjoyed the story of the Hereshoff brothers and their sailboats and there were no breakdowns on the trip.
Thurs. April 28 A club cruise to the Audrain Auto Museum in Newport, RI. Four of us went in three cars to see the museum’s display of Supercars. Then we went to a restoration shop in Midletown where we had a fine time shooting the breeze.
Sat. April 30 A club trip to the grand reopeing of Cardone & Daughter Restoration Body Shop in Old Saybrook, CT
