The Westerly-Pawcatuck Region was chartered with the AACA in 1966 to help promote the enjoyment and preservation of antique automobiles in the Eastern Connecticut and Rhode Island area. Monthly meetings are held as noted throughout the year. Our meetings are open to all. Visitors and prospective members are encouraged to attend. Ownership of an automobile is NOT REQUIRED, although membership in the national organization (Antique Automobile Club of America) is a requirement for membership in the Region. A listing of AACA events and membership information can be found HERE.
Below are photos of our celebration of over 50 years as an AACA car club.
Members own both domestic and foreign makes representing more than 80 years of the automobile in America. We attend cruise nights, car shows, parades and other automobile-related activities. Annually we schedule several weekend trips to out of state shows in New England and New York and we spend a full week at Hershey, PA every fall. Meetings feature several speakers each year and technical help is always available to members through our Gas Lighters Program.
Tom & Don or Don & Tom?
This question always baffles new members. Which one of these two respectful car inspectors is Tom and which is Don?Membership is not official until you can tell them apart!
