REFRESHMENTS at a Regular Meeting: What to Bring
Supply purchased or made baked goods for 8-12 people. Some acceptable items are: fruit tray, cheese tray, cookies, brownies, cake or pie. Bring beverages, except for coffee, and a way to keep and serve them cold. One member should bring a small bag of ice and a container (ice bucket) since none is available at the Senior Center. The club will supply silverware, plates, paper goods and coffee. Contact the other club member(s) volunteering to bring refreshments with you for that meeting. . Coordinate with the other members volunteering for that meeting to determine who will bring what. There should be a cheese tray or dip, salad or snack entree and a desert. If you will not be able to attend on your assigned night it is your responsibility to contact someone from the alternates list and give the task to them. If you want to change nights with anyone, contact the person directly. After a deal is made you should inform the Newsletter Editor and Secretary of the change in plans. Pot Luck Meeting Nights: What to Bring Bring a salad, appetizer, entre or desert for four people. Bring serving utensils for the dish and pot holders if needed. Bring a crock pot if it’s needed for your dish. A couple bottles of soda or a jug of tea or cider are additional possibilities. The club will supply silverware, plates and paper goods.
