Brookdale Senior Living, August 20, 2021

We had great participation from club members at the Brookdale Senior Living facility in South Kingstown. We all got to sit on a nice shady hill from which about 20 fellow old car folks could watch the Brookdale residents check out our cars. Plenty of the Brookdale tenants came out to see the old relics (the cars, not the club members). One resident who was using a walker was 102 years old. That makes her older than any of our vehicles! We were treated soft drinks, hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, and cookies. There was even a road sign announcing our presence at the event. This would truly make a great annual event. Best of all, it is right in our own neighborhood in South Kingstown!
