Brookhaven Assisted Living, Aug. 25, 2022

The Brookhaven trip is becoming an annual staple. The residents really enjoy seeing us and our cars and although we are happy to see how well they are getting on, the food the staff puts out for us is magnetic! All kinds of sandwiches, chips, drinks, and cookies. I saw several club members going up for seconds! Eventually some of our crew needed to use the rest room facilities. This started a bit of a commotion because at our ages some folks were concerned that if they entered the facility they might be mistaken for residents and thus not allowed to leave. I know two guy;s who were seriously afraid to enter; but, nature overcame fear. We had about 7 cars and gret weather. It was an enjoyable afternoon.
