North Stonington 2022 Memorial Day Parade & Picnic

The North Stonington Memorial Day Parade took place on an absolutely perfect weather day! We had plenty of cars show up. My count is about 15 beautiful old cars! There was one breakdown (a Studebaker overheated) but the valiant owner (Vickie) still showed up for the party after. We all drove directly to the home of Ralph and Anne Roark for a club picnic. The spot on the lawn was perfect! Plenty of shade and tables. Everyone brought something to eat (would you believe there were about 8 different macaroni salads, each different?). Ralph cooked hamburgers and hot dogs. I believe the hamburgers were made from cattle raised in N. Stonington! What a treat. There are plenty of photos below so you can see all the fun we had.
