The Westerly-Pawcatuck Region was chartered with the AACA in 1966 to help  promote the enjoyment and preservation of antique automobiles in the Eastern Connecticut and Rhode Island area.  Monthly meetings are held as noted throughout the year.  Our meetings are open to all.  Visitors and prospective members are encouraged to attend.  Ownership of an automobile is NOT REQUIRED, although membership in the national organization (Antique Automobile Club of America) is a requirement for membership in the Region. ​Members own both domestic and foreign makes representing more than 80 years of the automobile in America. We attend cruise nights, car shows, parades and other automobile-related activities. Annually we schedule several weekend trips to out of state shows in New England and New York and we spend a full week at Hershey, PA every fall. ​Meetings feature several speakers each year and technical help is always available to members  through our Gas Lighters Program.

The 2023 Memorial Day Parade in North Stonington, CT was well attended! There were over 15 cars and beautiful weather. The John and Kim, seen above, hosted a cookout right after the parade. See all the photos in the Gallery Page or just click on the photo of the 1921 Rolls Royce in the above photo.

Important Notice:
For the months of July and August:
 Club Meetings  will be outdoors at The General Stanton Cruise. The cruise night is from 4:30 pm until dusk, and our meeting will start there at 6:00 pm on the last Tuesday of the three summer months. A portable table will be provided each month for refreshments brought by the same members assigned to the summer meetings as usual. If it rains on a meeting night we will hold the meeting at 7:00 pm at the Westerly Senior Center.

The General Stanton owners, Jackie and David Moore have asked us to enter and exit as shown on the attached map so we don't inconvenience their dining and hotel guests. The 2023 Spring Dust-Off was a great success. We had plenty of cars join in the one-hour ride to Laferriere Classic Cars in Greenville, RI. Tom Laferriere treated us to a great collection. He even started up a couple of the rarer cars, a racecar and an unrestored German staff car. Check out a few photos in our Gallery section.
